History of ISTD Navi Mumbai Chapter
The Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), Navi Mumbai Chapter was established on 21 August 2016 at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Management Studies and Research (BVIMSR), Navi Mumbai, under the mentorship and guidance of Mr. Daniel Kurian and Dr.D.Y.Patil.
The formation of the Navi Mumbai Chapter marked an important step towards creating a professional platform for individuals and institutions involved in training, human resource development, organizational development, management education, and professional learning.
Since its inception, the Chapter has worked towards promoting the objectives of ISTD by bringing together HR professionals, trainers, academicians, corporate executives, consultants, students, and management practitioners on a common platform. The Chapter has undertaken various training programmes, workshops, seminars, conferences, knowledge-sharing sessions, and professional development initiatives.
Over the years, ISTD Navi Mumbai has sought to strengthen the connection between academia and industry, providing opportunities for members to exchange knowledge, develop professional competencies, and understand emerging trends in training and development.
The Chapter continues to work towards building a vibrant professional community in Navi Mumbai and contributing to the broader mission of ISTD in promoting excellence in training, learning, and human resource development.
